PLEASE NOTE. AS OF AUGUST 2024 ALL CANADIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS MUST APPLY FOR A TOURIST. 

Step 1 - Gather the following documents :

• Fill in the visa application form -click here to download and print it-.
• Passport (original)
• 2 passport photos (white background)
• Copy of your Wingbuddy invoice and copy of your electronic tickets
• 150 CAD (depending on method of application : cash or money order) for a single entry (or 205 CAD for multiple entries)

Step 2 - Choose the application method :

• In person : bring the above documents with you (payment in cash)
  • at the Consulate General of Egypt in Montreal - address: 1800 McGill College Avenue, Suite 900, Montreal, QC H3A 3J6 -- to go to the Consulate General of Egypt in Montreal you must make an appointment on this link click here
  • or the Egyptian Embassy in Ottawa - address: 454 Laurier Avenue East, Ottawa ON K1N 6R3

• By mail (processing time 2 to 3 weeks) : send your application by mail (payment by money order) to : 
  • If you are resident in Ontario (except Ottawa), Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador or Prince Edward Island - please send to the Consulate General of Egypt in Montreal - address : 1800 McGill College Avenue, Suite 900, Montreal, QC H3A 3J6
  • If you are resident in Ottawa, Gatineau, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba or Saskatchewan - please send to the Egyptian Embassy in Ottawa - address : 454 Laurier Avenue East, Ottawa ON K1N 6R3

IMPORTANT: if applying by mail, please use a CERTIFIED envelope to send all documents and send a CERTIFIED RETURN envelope (with your address on it) to return the passport once the visa has been issued. Do not apply for a visa more than 90 days before your departure date, otherwise your application may be automatically refused.

NOTE : If you are making a money order, please make it payable to the Consulate General of Egypt in Montreal (if applying to the Consulate) or to the Embassy of Egypt in Ottawa (if applying to the Embassy).
